Not me!

Anyone else have not me’s in the house, tonight I had two.  I go into A’s room and there is pee outside the closet door so I think oh no the puppy had an accident, but then notice the closet open a little and so I open it and here is A’s pretend potty with sink attached covered in pee.  I recall early that T had come out with changed pants.  So I march into the living room and ask “T did you pee in A’s baby potty”  “Nope it wasn’t me” he says. So I go ask A “did you pee in the baby’s potty and she says ” nope it wasn’t me but I washed my hands in the sink” “oh” I say  “what did you use to wash with?”  “Te te’s pee pee, silly mommy”  Ack !! So I ran to draw a bath for them both and talk to them about pretend baby pottys.

abandonment

My blog feels abandoned I’m sure because it has been over half a year since I updated it but honestly I don’t think many read it, in fact I know that because of my stat counter.  Maybe I can change that is I start writing more, I mean I can’t blame people for not reading if there is nothing to read and keep them coming back for more right?

Hmm so an update.

The reason I actually came here this morning is because I comment on Mckmama’s blog because her little Stellan is going through the same surgery as my Miss A.  My thoughts and prayers are with them this morning.

okay more updates.  We had a kitchen flood and so we got to reno it all and it took over 8 weeks but it is finally done and beautiful, but I don’t have any pictures with me to add so you will have to wait for those.  I finished the Sun Run on Sunday in 1:09:55 which I’m super happy about but I didn’t sign up so my time isn’t recorded for proof but I have it on my Ipod!  I have less than two weeks until the BMO Vancouver half marathon and we are training hard now because I honestly think this may be a form of torture.  I have lost close to 50 pounds on my running/ get fit lifestyle program that I designed to be a new healthier me so I guess that is working well.  Although yesterday after a busy tough day at work I polished off a half bottle of Pinot gris but then ran 8 km to work it off (or I’ll keep telling myself that at least)

Miss A is doing fab, she had the typical colds and such that Mr. T brought home from preschool but we got through it without much more than a couple neb treatments.  The weather is getting warmer with highs of 21-25C in the next few weeks so I may have to start the air conditioner early to keep her cool and with out tachy episodes although I hoping the longer she can go the more we can put this behind us.  She had a great 2 year heart day 2 weeks ago and we took the week off and went on holidays to the island and had a great time enjoying the beach and wonderful weather that we had.  She goes to see her electrophysist in July for her ECG, Echo and holter check ups but I’m sure she will amaze them.

Hmm I found some pictures of the kitchen, so here is one that is a couple years old but you get the idea.

get out of the house germs

S is sick, he is loosing his voice and sounds quite awful.  That sucks because the kids are just starting to feel better, and now the big baby is going to be high needs.  I’m going to pout because I wanted to go to PNE this weekend.

About A’s heart condition

A has Congenital Junctional Ectopic Tachycardia.  She had an Ablation at Stollery Hospital in Edmonton last April and so far it is working to correct this extremely fatal defect.

2 Weeks old in ICU at BCCH

The NG feeding start because she wouldn’t eat more than 2oz a day.

My little tachy princess

Yup not tacky but tachy. looks like Miss A can’t handle the heat very well, so she was in the ER and then had a holter done. Her Electrophysist said keep her cool, but we won’t start her on any meds yet.

good thing I had noah and some animal toys in my bag although I had left the ark at home so a pediped shoe worked as the ark.

Getting a little hungry and after she let the nurses hear her high pitch screaming they brought her a feast of orange juice, cheese and turkey sandwiches, and yellow freezies.

I am a blog reader

I seem to be drawn into the cf husband blog.  When I arrive at work in the morning I often have 30 minutes before I start and the first thing I do is check on the Lawrenson family.  Through Nate’s blog I have read about many other blog’s, recently I was checking his SIL Megan’s and she was asking for prayer for a mother and her baby and so I clicked on the link and there was a blog about a mom who is using her body as a vessel to deliver much needed medication to her unborn baby.  This baby has SVT which is similar in treatment to my daughter’s condtion JET.  I left a comment about this similarity to the mom and hoped that she would contact me, as A has had ablation and many different medications which may be a help to this mom.  Well she did contact me and I replied in email.  I am hoping to be of help to her.

My husband often asks why I read these blogs about people I have never met and probably never will and I told him I don’t know but for some reason I am.  I think maybe this mom maybe why.  I believe things happen for a reason.  I also have increasingly been drawn towards Jesus and the church.  I don’t know much but I am trying to learn.  It is very difficult as my husband will not attend church with me but he supports me in learning.  I have a long way to go but I will learn.
